570 Broome Street residential tower is one of the few examples of unique buildings in NY, both designed and constructed by a Turkish American team of an architect, developer and contractor. The architect Tahir Demircioglu is a former president of MIM and the partner of construction team Erden Arkan (KSK Construction Group), who is also an architect by education, has been been an active member and supported/sponsored numerous events organized by MIM.
the Building
570 Broome is a collection of 54 one to three Bedroom loft-style contemporary residences with iconic New York City views that draw inspiration from the history and style of West SoHo. The building is inspired by its setting; a whimsical combination of contemporary and contextual elements. The design references the area’s industrial past via soaring ceiling heights and a silhouette evocative of staggered cubes.
The project also attracts attention through its connection with the outdoors. Landscaped gardens on both the ground and second floors invite residents to connect with the outdoors, while the west soho setting grants immediate access to the culture and nightlife of downtown. Unfettered views of public greenspace and urban activity are framed throughout the building. The façade’s crystalline glass curtain wall also captures stunning vistas of downtown and the hudson river.

Tahir Demircioglu is the founder and principal of the architectural design firm builtd.
